The Job
We are looking for experienced passionate football coaches to join our City Football Schools program which is currently
in a significant growth phase. Our program delivers educational coaching sessions to 5–14-year-old players using the
PLAY methodology developed within the City Football Group.
Our coaching sessions run predominantly on a weekly basis during school terms, but we also run shorter intensive
holiday and other programs. We operate in multiple locations across Melbourne and the role requires that you have your
own transport and be flexible about location and timing of the casual work.

These positions are offered on a casual basis with immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
• Run quality coaching sessions that provide a positive, safe and exciting learning environment for all players by
using a variety of teaching and coaching techniques.
• Work closely with the coordinators to ensure first class communications with relevant stakeholders including
venues, parents and staff.
• Devise and review content on a weekly and term basis, following a long- term development plan.
• Ensure Club safety protocols and child safeguarding requirements are adhered to.
What makes you the perfect Team member: -
• Holder of a basic coaching accreditation from a recognised National or International body.
• Demonstrated understanding of the technical and physical requirements of modern football.
• Knowledge of youth coaching and youth football (in Victoria preferred).
• Reliable, positive team player with proven integrity and discretion.
• Energetic with the willingness to learn from highly qualified colleagues.
• Your own transport and hold a current driver’s licence.
• Flexible with a willingness to work weekends and travel to various sites for coaching, where applicable.
• Current Australian work rights.
• Must hold a current Victorian Working with Children Check and Police Check (or successful prior to
commencement)
