The Youth Coach Coordinator will support the recruitment, education, and development of grassroots coaches, ensuring they meet the highest standards of client service and coaching quality. This involves balancing administrative duties, on-field coaching, and coach development tasks to create a comprehensive and supportive environment for our coaching steam. The coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for coach development and education, managing the educational, operational, and logistical aspects to ensure the smooth execution of all programming. This part-time position, available in New York, aims to cultivate a thriving community of skilled and dedicated youth coaches.
Location: Westchester, Long Island, and New York.

Responsibilities
Coach Education Assist in delivering field, classroom, and virtual coach education meetings and seasonal orientations in line with Red Bulls coaching philosophy and methodology. Coach Development Help manage the quality, accuracy, and delivery of training sessions. Provide feedback and on-field support to coaches. Coach Recruitment Assist in recruiting part-time coaching staff via practical and theoretical interviews at coach recruitment events.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Preferred minimum of USSF C License or equivalent.
Experience as a coach educator and developer.
An understanding of the seasonal youth soccer market.
A deep understanding of soccer techniques, tactics, and coaching methodologies.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate instructions, feedback, and constructive criticism to both coaches and players.
Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and guide coaches and players towards their goals.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, training sessions, and administrative tasks.
Proficient in mentoring and supporting less experienced coaches, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
Schedule
Your weekly schedule will consist of approximately twenty (20) administration hours and nine (9.5) on-field coaching hours during the winter, spring and fall seasons. And an average of fifteen (15) administration hours and fifteen (15) on-field coaching hours during the summer season.
You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
